About Oonagh

Oonagh is a sweet, very smart 9 month old suspected Belgian Malinois and Golden Retriever mix. Oonagh is sensitive and stubborn and would thrive in an environment with a job and/or lots of exercise! She was found wandering around along a busy road in January. My wife and I have had her since. It seems she experienced some abuse in the past, but we are working hard to build her confidence. We have worked with a trainer extensively, and Oonagh has made great progress, but will need someone who will continue to diligently and compassionately train her as she matures. She knows the commands sit, leave it, down, stay, come, place and circus. She is also well crate trained and has never had an accident in the house. We are currently working on muzzle training as well, as she can be a bit mouthy, but never aggressive. Unfortunately, we have not had good luck introducing her to our cats, so she is not compatible with our household.
