S'Mores and Marshmallow are three-year-old female guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together. These girls lived in a Montessori school in Chicago. However, some children were allergic so they were given up to rescue. Marshmallow is all white, and S'more is a tri-color. They are extremely handleable. The girls eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a 1/4 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens. Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/ They would love a home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting S'Mores and Marshmallow, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting [email protected] Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase their Midwest guinea pig cage and supplies. They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
