About Shirley

Meet Shirley! This beautiful girl would do well with adopters who will help build her confidence back. She is such a sweetheart, her eyes, her body language, everything asking for love. Shirley is young, about 3, and we think she is a golden retriever/hound mix. She has put some much needed weight on since coming to the shelter, and she looks healthier and less fearful than when she came in. We would love to find her an adopter who will continue to work with her: lots of love, trust, and stability - building that confidence back up to that golden retriever inside of her ready to play!! She is beautiful, an absolute sweetheart, and you will not find it hard to love this dog. It will just take meeting her. We are open Sat-Sun 1-5 and Tues-Fri 11-4 if you would like to do just that!
