About Stormy

Meet Stormy, a stunning two-year-old gray and white kitty with the softest coat and stunning green eyes. Sadly, she had to be surrendered by her owner to the shelter, which was very scary for her. She was kenneled for a few months before coming to our foster-based rescue in Connecticut. Considering all that she has been through, this beauty needs a very patient, understanding, and quiet home. Stormy has been very timid since arriving a few weeks ago. It takes her a while to trust you and she'll stay hidden until she feels comfortable with you. When she does, she will hop onto the bed to be close to you and will purr as she sits on your lap. Stormy does not like to be touched or petted right now as she's still unsure about people and her environment. Sadly, her previous owner declawed her. Stormy is a very sweet girl though and will make biscuits and roll on the floor onto her back when she feels safe and content. It's very important that whoever adopts her give her ample time to adjust. A relaxed home with no children would be best.
