About Vincent Van Gogh 'Vinc

Corgi
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Vince is the result of unethical breeding. He was adopted from a shelter by his current owner, but isn't a good match for the home even though he's cared for very much. We are helping to find Vince's perfect place. Here is Vince's bio: 'My name is Vincent Van Gogh, but I go by Vince. I am a deaf, double merle corgi. My birthday is coming up soon on 05/10 and I will be 1 year old! My previous owners returned me two times to the same shelter, before my current parents picked me up and took me home! I am neutered and fully vaxxed, as well as microchipped registered to my mom. My favorite activities are running around in fields, going on walks/hikes, mom and I go for rides a lot to the park, and I like to try and sit in her lap while she drives. I love playing with tennis balls. I am extremely high energy and love to play. I have a cat brother and we love to play around the house and get the zoomies. I love to lay next to you during rest time and I will always be interested in everything you do. I'm happy to be your shadow. There are times I do prefer my space, and I definitely think under the bed is the perfect spot. My mom says I'm a bit nosey because I will jump on anything and everything to see what is up there for me. I like to steal her snacks off her nightstand. I love meeting new people and new doggies! I will run up to anyone and everyone I can! My bark is so loud because I cannot hear myself, so sometimes people are caught off guard but I just want them to pet and play with me! I must be the center of attention! Sometimes I can get a little startled and run away when you try to use any kind of sign language or walk towards me. My mom thinks my previous owners may not have always been nice to me. I sometimes try to zoom away when you want to pick me up. It's not my favorite thing at all. Bath time is the worst! I do not appreciate when people are around my food, I like to be left alone when I eat and drink water and I will let you know when you are too close. Since I can't hear, I'm especially guarded with my food and water since I don't know when you are approaching so feeding me in my crate is best. When you leave the house I ALWAYS want to come with you, so be careful when opening the door because I can be a door dasher. As long as you get my attention I will always come back to you! Unfortunately I am not fully potty trained, but we are working on it more and more every day! I do have a 5 month old human sister who I do very well with, but my mom is a little anxious about when she starts crawling because I can get startled very easily, but so far I am very good with the kids I have met.' If you can provide the unique home Vince needs, please email us at: [email protected] and tell us in depth about yourself. Generally, all you'd like us to consider while reviewing initial inquiries. Questions such as 'how much,' 'when can I pick him up?' and the like will not be answered. We want to get to know you so that we can find the perfect home for Vince.
