Courtesy Posting: VERY URGENT! EUTH LISTED FOR 3/30/23. STUNNING GOLDEN RETRIEVER/SHEP LOOKING MIX NEEDS ADOPTER OR FOSTER/ RESCUE TO SAVE HIM! SHELTER IS OVERFLOWING WITH DOGS. FINE WITH OTHER DOGS & SWEET WITH PEOPLE. WHO CAN HELP? CARTER - ID #A066841 Hesperia Shelter. Hesperia, So Cal https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/HESP/A066841 This stunning 5 yr young, 60 lb intact male, golden retriever/ shepherd looking boy has been at the shelter since 2/1/23 and must either be adopted or pulled by rescue (+ needs foster) by 3/30/23. The shelter is overflowing and they are being forced to euthanize dogs for space. Per the shelter, 'Was leashed dog tested with male shepherd and did fine, but really had no interest. Needs leash training. Very sweet boy with people but has been overlooked for some reason by adopters. This sweet boy needs out of the shelter now. He's stressed and not eating enough in this environment. He would make a great family dog as he calm, gentle and easy-going.' If you can adopt this cutie, please call the shelter for an appointment to meet/adopt him at: (760) 947-1700 and reference ID A066841. If you are a rescue and want to pull him, please email Kathy at the shelter at: [email protected] If you are interested in fostering this pup, please email Debbie Alder (networker) directly and I will work to find a rescue to pair you with.
