About Melody

Melody is a great dog. She has been with our family since she was rescued from the SPCA. She has grown up with our 4 children and has never been aggressive toward our children. However, she does not like strangers. She has been aggressive toward people who come to our house unannounced, and when we are not with her. We have a property where many people are working and coming and going, and we have tried to train her at a group class. She needs more attention and time with training. She needs a family who can socialize her, or who is more isolated. She was trained not to attack our friends animals on a case-by-case basis. She will need reinforcement for new people and pets. She has been ok with cats and small dogs. Again, she would need to be trained on a case-by-case basis. She I'll not be able to stay with our family. She will need to find a new home or will be surrendered to a shelter soon. This is her chance to find a more suitable home.
