About Boone

boone was found with his siblings in a cardboard box at a park in Denver, Colorado. We got him when he was about 6 months old. His dna test shows that he is part staff, pointer, and part coonhound with some mixes of viszla. I taught him some commands: sit, stay, shake, please, drop it, roll over, heel, 'bang' (point finger guns at him and he will lay on his side - if you continue to shoot he will twitch for every one), go home (goes to his crate). When we moved to San Francisco in 2021, we put him in professional training with Offleash K9 - they claim to do lifelong retraining so if Boone needs anymore training, he can go back for free. He is up to date on all vaccines, has no bite history, and is on a kidney diet. Boone is completely potty and crate trained (he is a HOUSE dog). We walk him twice a day and brush his teeth every night before bedtime. He is pretty good offleash and doesn't stay too far away. He loves to give kisses, to play, and to cuddle. He loves hiking and he also loooves sunbathing. He hates water, hates baths, and hates anything around his ears.
