About Benedict

Benedict is a keen hiker and nature lover. He walks very nicely on leash and has a nice pace, despite being extremely overweight (something we're working on). He is very patient and calm in his kennel, and somewhat shy with new people, especially those wearing glasses or obnoxious jewelry. He is looking for a calm home life where the day will be predictable and the visitors will be the kind of people to respect his space. Once you have his trust, he is a loyal and loving companion. He will need regular grooming to keep his coat as splendid as it is right now, and we can give you the name of his previous one with whom he has a great relationship. Benny is about five years old and weighs 70lbs currently, though his target weight is closer to fifty.
