About Skylar

Skylar is approx. 1 to 3 years old. Skylar came from a high kill shelter in Georgia. He was listed as rescue only, due to being fearful. The first day we met Skylar, he was extremely scared and did try to bite. However, by the next day, he was our best friend. Most fearful dogs just need someone that understands them and time to decompress. With all that said, I do call him the neurotic pom. As much as he likes to sit in your lap and be loved on, when you try to leave without him, he starts barking and jumping around asking To go . If you do take him with you, he rides great in the car. But, when you get out of the car, he expresses his dislike at not going with you. If you have a large purse, I am sure he would love to sit in it and go everywhere. He really is a very sweet and snuggly boy. He gets along with the other dogs in the rescue. However he prefers to play with just one of the little girls. Due to his size and attitude, Skylar will need to go to a home with no small children. It would also be great if he can find a home where someone is around more often than not.
