About Charlie

Please meet Charlie. He is an 8 month old Great Dane . He is pure bred and very high energy. His owner was unable to keep him, and he came to me very skinny and with absolutely no training whatsoever. I worked with Charlie to get his weight up and he has been crate trained and knows basic commands, but needs to be consistent with the continue training. He does well with dogs and kids, and is friendly with both male and female adults and children. He is not neutered yet, as it is not recommended to neuter a giant breed dog at this age. Whoever adopts him will need to keep in touch with the breeder. She is aware that he is being rehomed . I actually was in contact with her when I took him in. He will need to be neutered no sooner than 18 months in no later than two years. He will still need one more puppy shot and his rabies vaccine, other than that he is in good health. The vet has seen him. He is clear of any parasites or any other issues. He is incredibly high energy and would do well with someone who has another high energy dog and a yard to run in. He also needs consistency so whoever takes him will need to be consistent with his continued training as for seven months of his life he was not trained and did not have consistency in his life before coming to me.
