About Rory

Rory is approximately a year old and has already spent too much of her young life in the Pitt County Animal Services Shelter (Greenville NC). Rory has been there since the beginning of January. I've lived a lot of life since the beginning of January, so it breaks my heart to think that this sweet girl has spent all that time in a shelter environment. Unlike some dogs that seem to 'breakdown' after weeks on end in the shelter, Rory has kept her perma-smile the entire time. Seriously, she is always so joyful on her morning walks. Smile on her face, hiney shaking, and the sweetest enthusiasm are the things that make Rory the highlight of my mornings volunteering at the shelter. Adoptions through PCAS are $125, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchipping, and spay. I am a volunteer with the shelter. Please do not call between 10PM-8AM as I tend to get a good night's rest during this window (Can you tell I've had multiple 3AM phone calls? :)
