About Bailey

Bailey is a 6 year American Fox hound and has a nose to prove it! She is a very sweet and loving devoted friend but has a lot of energy and is very strong. She loves to play ball, stuffed animals and bones. She has a big appetite that needs to be controlled, she loves food and eats fast, so she eats in a slow feeder. Bailey has a strong Hound nose and lives watching for squirrels and birds. Just to chase, no lost soldiers yet. Bailey has been professionally trained away from home for obedience training, basic commands, but her hound nose sort of controls her concentration. But she does remember and with constant work I feel she would respond. I have grown old fast and have very bad knees and shoulders, so it is absolutely impossible for to take her for outings and walks. She is so strong and I can't control her and for this reason , I am looking for the perfect and for ever home for her. She is perfectly healthy no issues at all and has been loved and cared for all her life. She has lived in the house with us along with are other small Mini Doxie and our mixed Dixie/Beagle. This is a tuff decision, but I want her to have an active life and I now feel like I am keeping that from her!
