Arguably, the prettiest shepherd I've ever seen. But that's not all, he's more than just a pretty dog. He's affectionate, loves a game of fetch and is actually pretty chill after a nice walk or game of fetch. He walked really nicely on leash in the shelter's back parking lot where it's much quieter. He's been reactive to other big dogs at the shelter so he's best as the only dog. ARNOLD has been at the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, since December 21, 2021. He had been tied to a pole for two hours, barking and circling. When the owner of the corner convenience store realized no one was returning for ARNOLD, he took him into the store and called for someone to take him to the shelter. ARNOLD is 4 years old and he needs out of the shelter and into the home of someone who will understand that he needs time to decompress, to keep his mind active, and to show him the love he deserves and that will be returned ten-fold.
