About Bitsy

I've been fostering 2 female one year old beagle terrier mixes (my best guess) and I've been unable to find forever homes for them. I have 9 dogs and cannot keep anymore as I am at full capacity! I inherited these 2 several months ago from someone who could not take care of them so I offered to foster. They can be separated if needed but will do best in a home that has dogs or cats. They need someone to play with and they do well with all dogs and cats except they do get territorial around their food and toys. I've had them both spayed and they are UTD on all shots. I have them on Heartworm, and Flea/Tick prevention. They get groomed regularly and do well with this. They are the sweetest girls and just want to be loved. They need a home where they can get more attention! ***They are inside dogs*** They are potty trained and can also use a dog/cat door. A home with a fenced in yard would work best for these girls as they are very active. They love to go on walks but will need more lessons on walking on a leash. Bitsy Weight: 18-22 lbs Potty trained but has 'excited' accidents especially when being greeted. It's best not to get her excited or talk excitedly until she gets outside. This has improved significantly now that she is comfortable in her surroundings. Crate trained at night. Loves playing with other dogs but can get territorial around toys/food/kennel. She does great with all dogs but dog/s will need to be tolerant of her excitement and love. She jumps on my big dogs constantly trying to love on them. She climbs our cat tower. She climbs to the top and sits like a cat LOL. She would do well in a home with a cat. She loves them!!
