About Bill

LOCATION: Heber Springs, Arkansas DOB: 03/19/2019 (Estimate) Meet Bill-AKA 'Chill Bill'. If this Black Beauty could talk, boy would he have some stories to tell! The things he must've seen and experienced! He was found as part of a trio of strays in southern Texas before being taken into foster care. Nothing is known about his history. But the past is where that chapter ends and it's Bill's future that is full of possibilities! Being loved on is sitting really well with Bill! In true Dane fashion, he already has the Dane Lean down pat, and ear scratches are his new favorite pastime. He has no trouble hanging with humans and he has even less trouble being pet and loved on by those same people. Children over 12 would be great in Bill's new world. He is fine with other dogs although he has shown a little food aggression. But that may be just a symptom of his past where he probably had to fight to survive. He is fine with his humans and food-even laying down wanting treats and food brought to him versus him charging the food bowl or treat dish. He was introduced to a cat and did fine. Bill's leash manners are pretty good although getting in and out of the car is a new concept for him but he's practicing and getting better. He has been in a kennel at the vet's office and had no issues with it. He is housetrained. Chill Bill is taking his new life in stride. He has lived on the streets but has found life as a pet much more suitable to his taste. His future is very bright but the only thing missing is a new family.
