About Ramona

LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas DOB: 03/19/2022 (Estimate) Sometimes you just know when you see a dog that he or she will be the one for you. That's how it is with Miss Ramona. You will fall in love with her over and over again everyday. RoRo is the sweetest, most loving girl. In her current foster home, she sleeps with a 14 year old and 16 year old human sibling. To say she loves her people would be an understatement. She radiates Dane Love. If you are a person who loves that big ol' heavy Dane head resting right next to you, you are in for a treat. And a home with older children would be perfect for her. She loves to walk through people's legs so that they start scratching her head. She is a little more cautious around men, but in slow and controlled introductions, she does warm up to them.. A house (or an apartment) full of dogs would be no problem for Ramona. Biggins, small ones, males or females, she can join into a pack just as easily as she can gobble down a treat. This gorgeous girl has even got on a trampoline just to be near her furry friends. And if her furry buddies don't feel like playing, RoRo has learned she can play all by herself by throwing her toys around and having a fantastic time all on her own. (Cats in Ramona's new home are probably a no-go.) She is potty trained and figured out how to use a doggy door at her foster home. She will sleep in her crate or, much preferred, with her people if she is allowed. Her leash training is on-going but her foster momma continues to work with her on this. Hopping in and out of a car is easy-breezy although she is a bit of a homebody and much prefers to stay in the comfort of her own home. Ramona just had her first and last batch of puppies. She has been an excellent mum and allowed folks to love on her puppies and in turn, go to their new forever homes. But now it's her turn.
