About Beau

Beau is one of the original 4 'Mud Puppies' surrendered to the shelter more than a month ago. At 8 months old, these Border Collie & Poodle mix siblings had never worn a collar or a leash, had never been inside, & were never even given a name. Living up to the name he received at the shelter, 'Beau' is a beautiful, lovely lad. Over the past several weeks, Beau has rewarded volunteers with his sweet, gentle nature & he's responding eagerly to something he never had before: love & attention. Beau is now ready to find his new forever home. Beau has earned the title 'Velcro Dog' at the shelter because while other dogs are running & playing in the yard, Beau sticks right beside you, enjoying all the pets he can get. He just wants to be by your side. Beau has been vetted, neutered & is scheduled for grooming.
