About Melody

Melody is a great dog for an active family with a very secure fence. She is currently located in Dallas, TX. She is a 2-3 yr. old purebred Husky with gorgeous long hair, and a great demeanor. She doesn't bark or howl (a small, short yip occasionally, if she disagrees with being in her kennel) She is kennel trained. She has her basic manners training, she can sit, lay down, come, and shake her paw, on command. She does like to chase squirrels so sometimes her manners are forgotten when the squirrel trigger goes off, aside from that she walks great on a leash. She loves to run and be outdoors, of course, because she's a husky. She is good with kids, she lives with 5 human kids and 1 other dog in her foster family, and she stays neutral to even the craziest 5 yr. old in the family. She's so sweet, if anyone is dead set on getting a beautiful husky, she's the one. She is not a good fit for homes with small fuzzy animals, she has a very high prey drive. Her shots are up to date (full round in December) She is currently unaltered, and un-microchipped, while we wait for an appt. at a low cost clinic.
