About Winston

Winston is a very handsome Flat-Coated Retriever mix (3-4 yrs old) who was recently rescued from a shelter literally at the '11th hour'. His foster parents say he's an absolute sweetheart and loves snuggling and cuddling with people! He's learning basic obedience commands and how to walk nicely on a leash, and is smart and food-motivated so additional training will be a snap! Winston's good w/ other dogs and enjoys playtime with them but we're unsure about interactions with small kids or cats as he hasn't had much exposure to either of them. This is a happy, healthy pup who will be an amazing, loyal companion for an active person or family who enjoys outdoor activities (trail hikes, walks, day adventures) and hanging out together. He does need a fully fenced/secured, spacious yard at home and regular brushing to maintain his gorgeous coat. *** When inquiring about Winston, please send an email sharing a bit about you, your home environment, and what you could offer Winston as his new forever family.
