About Athena

After being seen running down the road in the middle of the night, Athena was picked up by the Medfield Animal Control. She was emaciated and covered in sores and old scars, not to mention cropped ears. After being nursed by the staff, she is now healthy and cleared for adoption! She is playful and enjoys learning, especially when treats are involved. The staff caring for her have nothing but good things to say about her - from friendly and affectionate to gentle and quiet, she'll never disappoint you! Athena is a young and sweet girl in need of a forever home where she is the one and only fur kid. She is not aggressive towards other dogs, but she acts afraid of them. She can however walk past them. She feels more comfortable with cats, and past her cat test! Athena is most deserving of a good home after being found in such a terrible state. She loves car rides and being with people. She would do best with older kids, about 10 and up. Athena is housebroken and now that she is in good shape she will be spayed in late March.
