About Vada

Vada is a wonderful dog but after a year with her she's nipped some of our guest's children and recently snapped at our niece 6 years old. We got Vada from the shelter and treated her for heartworms. Her energy level improved after she started feeling better from not having heart worms but we noticed she was having more anxiety around the kids when she started feeling better too. She takes 40mg of Prozac daily to help with her storm anxiety. She also wears anxiety collars during storms and she does better with the tv on and someone awake with her during a storm. She would do better in a home without children. She loves kids and she's attracted to them but sometimes she doesn't respond to their quick movements well. She's very affectionate and loving and deserves a good home with a special person. She's 8 years old in April according to her medical records.
