About Troy

Meet Troy! Troy had a forever home lined up, but sadly the adoption fell through, so this happy little guy is still available! Troy is a super sweet and goofy boy who is 12 weeks old (DOB 1/7/23) and weighs about 17 lbs. He's an Australian Shepherd / Border Collie mix who has big paws and a bigger heart! Incredibly food motivated and always likes to check in with his person (very much a velcro pup). Loves playing with other dogs and has been tested with cats, goats, and chicken and totally ignores them. He's working on housebreaking and leash walking and is doing well when treats are involved! Super social puppy and has been exposed to lots of different sights around cities and farms and has not shown any fear. He likes playing with the tennis ball, jumping in leaf piles, and big belly rubs. Even though he's still a puppy, he is very chill and settles down well in the house after some exercise. We're hoping to find a forever home for Troy with a fenced yard and ideally another dog so he can have a buddy! He will make a loyal best friend to a very lucky family.
