Tesa's adoption story is a mix of ups and downs. She was born at the shelter and was lucky enough to be adopted as a young puppy. However, after 11 months, her adopter returned her to the shelter through no fault of her own. Understandably, Tesa was initially scared upon her return, but with the help of the shelter volunteers, she quickly warmed up and regained her confidence. Tesa is an active dog who loves to run and play. Her previous adopter reported that she was good with children in the home, and with a slow introduction, she can make friends with new people as well. It's essential that her new adopter understands the importance of introducing her to new people at a comfortable pace to help her feel secure and build trust. Despite her rocky start, Tesa has a lot of love to give and is looking for a forever home where she can thrive and be a beloved companion.
