About Rose

We adopted Rose from the SPCA. She has come a long way since then! She loves to play fetch and tug, but also to just sit at your feet and sleep for hours at a time. We've begun working on running her while riding a bike to get some of her energy out. She absolutely adores my 10 month old and is incredibly gentle with her (unlike the baby who pulls Rose's hair/eyes/face). She does like to try and herd the kids a little bit by poking them with her nose, but a bit more consistent training that shouldn't be an issue any more. The reason we're finding a new home for her is that, as she gets older she is getting rougher (in domination and play) with my old Chihuahua/dachshund. She's not being aggressive, but I don't think it's fair for my old dog to be stressed so much in her old age. She does get along with my parents much larger dog. She is quite nervous/timid around men (not little boys), however I believe with a bit of work and a kind understanding man, she would come around.
