About LEO/13 mths old/Urgent

East Valley Shelter has a 1 year & 1 month old big dog on Orange Alert!!! Leo #A2036817, 1 years 1 month 69.0lbs. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender, on 06/17/22. Animals appearing on the Orange Alert are not irremediably suffering but require urgent and/or extensive medical care beyond what LAAS can provide. If at any time an animal's injury or illness is determined by the Department's veterinary staff to be medically extensive or severe, that animal may be humanely euthanized for irremediable suffering without any prior notice. Leo is in our critical care medical room. He needs to see a private Veterinarian. Leo has developed bilateral elbow hygromas from being on concrete for 9 months. Large, active dog who spends most of time lying on concrete.
