About BLUE

His owners were never found, and he was taken in by kind-hearted and caring Good Samaritans who have had him vetted and are desperately hoping to find him rescue. Name: Blue Age: Unknown Breed: Pit Bull Terrier, 62 pounds Sex: Male (confirmed neutered) Location: Harris County TX Vet Info: Blue is confirmed neutered. He received the rabies vaccine on 2/15/23 and is next due on 2/15/24. He also received his Da2pp+L and Bordetella vaccines on 2/15. Blue is confirmed heartworm negative as of 2/15/23. Dog Info: Blue is currently living in a foster home through his Good Samaritan. He is an indoor dog who is crated, and they are working on leash training and housebreaking. He is good with people of all ages and is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. Since he has been with them, Blue has not shown aggression. Blue currently lives with other dogs, but they haven't yet introduced him to the others in his current foster home because they want to give him time to settle, and for now, they feel he may do best as an only dog. When found in the street, they tell us the other dogs picked on him and he would cower, 'But, now when introduced to new dogs, he doesn't seem to know what to do and doesn't understand personal space. ... But, with the right introduction and the right dog, he may do just fine.' Blue appears mostly blind. His Good Samaritan gave us more details: ...'he can see better in the daylight and she thinks that he may be able to see shadows and forms (in daylight). He is clumsy and walks into things.' Blue's Good Samaritan wants us to know what a sweetheart he is! 'He is super sweet and has a great personality. everyone who meets him really loves him. he loves to be cuddled and loved on .... We are all volunteers just trying to help this poor boy. We want him to get the help that he needs and then find a good home.' Blue is hoping for his second chance!
