About Vodka

(DOB 1/18/2023). Due to Vodka's young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). 'V' is for Victory; NO it's for VODKA! Vodka wants to use his Voice to tell you all about how V-onderful he is! Vodka is V-abulous and V-un all of the time! He is V-eady and V-willing to give you all of his loVe! Vokda is a Very special boy! This spunky and playful puppy, Vodka, is looking for a foreVer home with a family that is active, home a good amount of the time, and has another energic dog to play with and teach him good puppy manners. Vodka has a lot of energy and loVes to play and play and play. He needs someone who can keep up with his playful antics, curious nature, and even being a little mischieVous. Right now his siblings and foster family are his besties, and he is ready to make his leap into the arms and hearts of his new family! Vodka is at that young age where he sleeps, eats, pees, poops, sleeps and repeats. It's a fun age and playing is the fundamental part of his day so make sure he has lots of toys and in a big Variety; soft, squeaky, filled, tough, and chewy, so his mind is feed and his teeth are grabbing the right things. Puppies put everything in their mouths including little ones fingers and toes, so no young children in the home (8+) years. Sweet Vodka hasn't been introduce to kitties but if brought into a home with a dog saVVY kitty, he should be fine; cats typically set boundaries with puppies fairly quickly. Vodka wants a home with a fenced yard for him and his new furry sibling to play and goof of in and then take a nap in the sun. At his young age, Vodka has a lot to learn. We are looking for a family that is committed to positive reinforcement (puppy group training an even bigger bonus) to build Vodka's manners and to grow into a well behaved dog! It's the perfect time to begin basic training and loose leash walking. Puppies absorb and learn quickly at this age, so a daily 30 minute training session should be built into your schedule for sweet Vodka. Vodka would also like to go places with you. He is Very social and enjoys every dog and person he meets, so getting him out and about at this Very young age to experience as many, people, places and things is a great way to build his confidence and increase his socialization skills. Take him on walks to the park, out to lunch, for a car ride or a puppacino; wherever it is you go, bring him for the fun of it! You will both benefit from the experiences! As part of Vodka's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
