About Rum

Rum schock-a-lock-a; add in a splash or two of feisty, playfulness and you have yourself a little Rum cocktail! This boy is demonstrating he is up for being a little mischievous and wants to dominate the party! Rum has a big, happy smile to share and will brighten your day with his infectious grin! He is a happy boy with a fun personality. He is ready to bring his joy and zest for life into your amazing family! If you have another dog, Rum prefers dogs that are more on the submissive side to keep he peace in the family. A fenced in yard would be nice so he can run, romp, play, and work off his puppy energy. He loves playing with his furry siblings. Ask his foster mom, and she will tell you Rum is an extremely good listener and wants nothing more than to please his people. If you're happy, he's happy! Rum is a smart guy and already knows basic commands like sit, wait and down and a family that will continue positive reinforcement training would be perfect for Run. Rum is very food motivated so this will help with training. He walks well on a leash using an easy walk harness. Rum is potty trained and a daily routine of a several walks, and potty breaks keeps his potty training right on schedule. Rum is, also, crate trained. He should be feed his meals in his crate otherwise he's trying to do the 'grab and go' of his siblings food. He is a tidy boy and keeps a very clean kennel. Older children (~8+ years) shoudl be fine just don't want Rum to accidently knocking down a little one. As part of Rum's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
