About Gin

Gin is a cocktail mix of personality. She is playful and sweet. She gets along with other dogs and loves people. She is submissive and would do well with another confident dog. However, having another dog is not a requirement. Gin can wiggle her tail so fast her whole hind end is swaying side to side in excitement. She has a cute little smile that will light up her adorable face! She can also pull out those adorable, can't resist puppy dog eyes as well. Gin knows basic commands such as sit, down and wait. She also comes when not distracted. Her forever family should continue to work on basic doggie manners. She walks well on a leash using an easy walk harness. This harness is recommended by her foster family. We encourage positive reinforcement group training for puppie. It is a great bonding experience for both pup and parent! Gin has not had any interaction with cats or very young children and has done well with kids at adoption events. She can get very excited and might knock down very young children. We are working on this. Gin is crate trained and and house training. Frequent walks or outside potty breaks are still important at her age so someone who is home a good amount of the day is important at her young age. If you have a yard or property where wildlife may be around, Gin has been known to flush out wild turkey. It must be the hound in her and her amazing nose! So let's not put her with a family with ducks or chickens or else she may want to chase them as well. As part of Gin's $325 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
