About POPPY

Poppy is an adorable Australian Shepard mix puppy who had a rough beginning. She was born to a feral mama and spent the first six weeks of her life living with her 3 siblings in the woods. The rescuer was able to find homes for the other 3 puppies and we were able to take Poppy. When she went into the foster's home, she was very timid and scared as she had never been around people. In the last 6 weeks she has really come out of her shell. She loves to play and did very well with the foster's 2 dogs, who have taught her how to 'dog.' She has come to trust her foster mom and no longer runs and hides when she sees a new person. She is working on potty training and willingly uses the doggy door. She is kennel trained and will sleep through the night. Poppy would flourish in a home with other dogs, who seem to help her confidence. Come meet this sweet, beautiful girl! 13 lbs and growing!
