About Koa

Koa is an energetic dog with a lovable heart. Gets along with most animals and humans. Only issues have been with other male dogs that try to show dominance over Koa, so could potentially be fine with other male dogs. Does need some training to stay in yard, or a very high fence as he is able to jump and climb over our 4-5ft fence. Doesn't wander far from home when he does though. Fearful of loud mechanical noises like lawn mowers, his response is to hide. Would be best with a yard and with somewhat active owners. Can be very energetic so while good temperament with kids, can sometimes be a little overwhelming for them with giving kisses and trying to jump. LOVES CAR RIDES! Can have some initial separation anxiety, so would recommend a kennel. Literally the biggest sweetheart.
