About Charlie

This classic blue boy is Charlie, an Australian Cattledog who was born in May, 2018. He weighs between 45-50 pounds. Charlie has had basic and intermediate obedience training and knows:��%BD%A0sit, stay/wait, come, lay down, and heel.��%BD%A0He can rest a treat on his nose (tell him to wait and then when you say OK he will get it). He is house trained and somewhat crate trained. Charlie is good with people, even school age kids. Charlie is nice with other dogs after a polite introduction and will sometimes play. Charlie is good on leash with a confident handler. He can be nervous in new situations, preferring routines that he knows, and would ideally live in a less busy area with a large yard. He is very active and would love room to play and a person who will keep him active. He loves the outdoors. Charlie is good in the car. He does fetch sometimes. Charlie is a very loving and loyal dog. He loves to go on hikes, swim, car rides and adventures in general. He loves to herd bugs, belly rubs, and cuddle. Even though he prefers to be outside most of the day (and will 'talk' to you to tell you when he wants outside) he is a very well behaved dog inside and loves his toys as well. Charlie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Calimesa, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
