About Adeline

Adeline has been a part of our family since she was a puppy in 2016. She has always been incredibly sweet and loving with us but has always been reactive towards other people. Our family dynamic has changed over the last couple years and we now have two small children and unfortunately she has started to show aggression towards my 3 year old. Thankfully to this point nothing has occurred other than growling and barking at her, but it's persisted to the point that I can no longer risk having her near the kids. On top of that, she is a very high energy dog and with the change in our lifestyle we aren't able to dedicate as much time and energy with her as we used to. I've never thought I would have to rehome a dog, but at this point I think it's what's best for both of us, and far better than the alternative. As far as her reaction towards other dogs, she visits doggie daycare regularly, and has never had an issue there. However, we had multiple incidents where she fought with our last dog, who passed in last year at 16. However, he had very dominant personality as well. She may do well in a home with a more submissive dog, but I'm not sure.
