About Basil

Basil is an approx. 3 year-old Dwarf Mix bunny that was rescued by our volunteer Mary. He had been left behind when his family moved away.�%A0�%A0He was living under an old shed and venturing across a busy road to forage for food and water. He had a small injury on his nose and was covered in yellowed, stained fur.�%A0�%A0We cleaned him up but there are still a few traces of his old life.�%A0Now, Basil is in foster care and learning the ways of a domestic 'house' rabbit.�%A0�%A0He has a warm place to sleep, plenty of fresh greens, and pellets and hay. He's learning to use his litter box and is getting better with time.�%A0�%A0He LOVES bunny treats and chewing on dried apple sticks.�%A0�%A0 Basil has been neutered and we think he might enjoy the company of another rabbit.�%A0�%A0Could you consider him as a friend to your lonely bunny girl?�%A0�%A0He deserves a wonderful life after what he's been through.�%A0�%A0
