About Kassi

Adoption Fee: $25
Lab mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Hi, my name is Trish Coleman, I found a mama pup and her baby pup (named them Kalli and Kassi) on the side of a highway, starving and cold. I tried hard trying to find any previous owners, with no luck. They were not chipped or spayed. I brought them home and now they are boarding/training for a month. All vaccines are now done, and spaying along with microchips will be done on 22 March 23. Here is some info on these sweet girls. I am in hopes of finding someone to foster or adopt them, I have 3 rescues myself and simply just can't keep them or I would. Here is some info: %BD' Located in Cibolo (San Antonio) TX 78154 %BD' Found on Feb 4 Feb 23 %BD' Approximate age Kalli (mom) Less than 2 yrs old Vets guess; Kassi (baby) 5 to 6 months old Vets guess %BD' Sex Both females %BD' Weight Kalli 40/Kassi 18 %BD' Best guess of breed: Lab Mix %BD' Spayed/Neutered and Microchipped: 22 Mar 23 %BD' Any known medical conditions NK Kalli and Kassi were friendly with my dogs and seem to be friendly when around other dogs with slow introduction. They do bark if on the other side of fence/kennel, the trainer is working on this. Very sweet pups. Kalli has been trained and has obviously lived in a home before, she knows how to jump on furniture and climb stairs (right away). The trainer has let me know that Kalli would be an excellent in search and rescue due to her being toy/ball driven and knowing commands, she listens and knows commands really well. They both wait to go outside to go to the bathroom and have been using the doggie door to go outside. I don't think Kassi has been around people before I found her, but both are very loving and give and receive affection well! :) I need to find a foster/adopter by 25 Mar if possible (or earlier), I would be willing to transport just about anywhere, as long as they receive a good home. I appreciate any help with this ... the ACO told me that the best thing I can do for the dogs and taxpayers is to take them back to the highway where I found them and let them go! :( I just couldn't believe that came out of his mouth ... I want to give them a good home! :) Any consideration that you can give me to find a foster or furever home will be greatly appreciated, I am willing to help with cost, and transport. %BD%BD%BDS
