10 month old 3.5 lb chihuahua puppy available to rescues only or with a spay/neuter contract (as he is unaltered). Up to date on all of his vaccines. He has a great temperment, shows no signs of food aggression or any type of aggression ever at all. Barks when a new person comes into the house, but is on the quieter side for a chihuahua. Was completely trained to pee pads but started having more accidents when I attempted to transition him to going outside. He will go to the bathroom outside, but is still at a point where without a pee pad in the house, he sometimes will have accidents on the floor. Walks okay on a leash and enjoys walks but is not trained to heel. The only command he knows is sit. Playful and cuddly personality. Would do best in a home with other dogs or cats (he is friendly with both) because the woman I got him from had 30 chihuahuas and he really likes other animals and a lot of attention. Would do best in a home where there is another companion animal for him to have as a friend, but someone who works from home or has a lot of time to spend with him would be best because he doesn't like being alone. Right now he lives with me in a home with 2 other people and quite a lot of foot traffic-he isn't territorial about locations, food, toys, specific spaces of the home, or people, and makes bonds with basically everyone he meets. He doesn't attach to a particular person, but he does not like being alone. He is honestly an absolute angel, very gentle, cuddly, playful. I have never heard him growl.
