About Atlas

Hello folks. My name is Atlas and I'm an 8 yr old gent trying to figure out who I am. See, I found myself at the shelter and can't remember my previous life. What they have told me is that I need 'some work'. For example, I don't know what to do with myself in a yard. Haven't had one before and it just gets me just��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD%BD|ahhh! Basically, I am a hot mess and need someone who gets that and who will help me learn that having the freedom of a yard is supposed to be fun. I have found something that is fun though. The other day I went to a local store and was a rock star! Like 5 paw rating. My shelter friend didn't see that coming. I'm full of surprises! I'm also learning what it is like to ride in the car. Might have done some smack talking to passing cars but cut me some slack, it was my first time in a car. Will put that on my list of 'to work on'. Going for walks is cool in my book, though I have been told my leash manners need some polish with a strong buffer. Will also put that on my list. In complete transparency, I am a hot dog addict. I love those things and hear Costco sells them. Let's talk toys: those things are useless to me and my forever person would save money by not having to buy any. Isn't that economical of me? Oh! I love to sneak a kiss to my favorite staff member when she delivers my food. She never sees it coming but she leaves with a smile. Guess you could call me charming. When I would like to be pet, I rub up against a hooman's legs like a cat. Being 100 lbs + I am not subtle like a cat but it does the trick. Grooming is also very important to me and insist my hoomans brush me daily because I love it! Mmmm! As you can see I have some pro's and some con's but in the end I need someone who will help tilt that scale over in the positive. So, if you are not a rookie, love vacuuming dog hair, have excess income to buy hot dogs and would like a seasoned Shepherd to join you in life, come by and meet me at the Santa Barbara location.
