About Lily

Lily is a super sweet 15 month old yorkie mix. She weighs approximately 5 - 6 lbs. Lily was surrendered to our rescue after her owner died. We immediately realized she was sick so she went straight to the emergency vet the day she was placed with us. She spent 2 nights in the ICU at the emergency vet where she was tested and diagnosed with liver shunt. She is now doing well and being managed with diet and medication. Her new family will need to educate themselves on 'MANAGING LIVER SHUNT IN DOGS' and have an understanding of her dietary needs. She is doing great now and is enjoying being a playful puppy. Her foster mom says she is doing well with house training, but will need reinforcement in that area whenever she gets to her furever home. Lily needs a family who understands liver shunt in dogs, is ready and able to train and love a playful puppy, and has plenty of time to spend with her.
