About EDDIE - TX Rescue Pup

Just a little over a year ago, EDDIE's heavily pregnant mom ANDI was abandoned on the sprawling property of a rescue and rehab center for dogs in rural Texas, where EDDIE and his nine littermates were born and raised in puppy paradise, running and playing happily together all day in huge play yards, and cuddling and sleeping soundly together at night in the home of the rescue's founder. In every way, EDDIE was already at home, but since the goal of any true rescue charity is to place a dog in a loving home in order to make room for the next one in need, a home for EDDIE was found with a single female retiree in faraway Rochester, NY, where the two quickly fell in love, despite the fact that the relationship was strained from the beginning. There was nothing wrong with EDDIE who is a lovable, energetic and curious puppy. There was nothing wrong with his elderly mom who is active, caring and kind, but the two were simply incompatible. EDDIE grew up playing with other puppies who he loved, but currently has no other dogs to run and play with, and his mom cannot take care of two Eddies at the same time; one has been more than she can handle. So we are looking for a new family with kids for EDDIE to play with and a home with a fenced yard to contain EDDIE's energized spirit and body, and most importantly, another dog or several who will welcome EDDIE into their pack.
