About Elvis

Elvis is a 2 year old Great Dane mix who weighs about 60 pounds and has a gorgeous gray short hair coat. He has a medium energy level and appears to be housetrained. Elvis knows the commands Sit, Shake and he is Oh so close to knowing Down! Elvis becomes deeply attached to his person and is very affectionate. He LOVES to give hugs and be cuddled. Elvis can be skittish around loud noises and some men. He will need proper greets with strangers to make sure he is comfortable. Elvis would succeed with a new owner who will ensure that he is not made uncomfortable in new situations or meeting new people. Elvis has participated in may play sessions with other dogs at the shelter and has done phenominally well. He is very stable with other dogs and has been used to help new dogs become more comfortable in the play yard. Elvis lived in a previous home with other dogs and would do well in a multi-dog home. Regardless of how well he does with dogs, meeting other dogs in the home prior to adoption is always a good idea. My adoption fee is $160, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County.
