About Lilly

Adoption Fee: $160
Anatolian Shepherd / Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Lilly is a 2 year old Anatolian-Husky cross who weighs about 65 pounds. She originally came to the shelter with her littler mates of which there were 9. She lived in a foster home at the time which was a horse ranch. She was adopted when she was 3 months old, but now returned because the owner is unable to care for her. Her owner reports that Lilly is affectionate and loves to nudge you for attention. She is very treat motivated and easy to train. Lilly loves belly rubs and can be very playful. She lived with another dog in the home and did well. Lilly is a talker (the husky in her). She will whine and howl if she is feeling insecure. Lilly will chase birds and has killed a chicken in the past. She is a low to medium energy level dog and is mostly low energy inside the home. She is housetrained and crate trained. Lilly walks well using a harness and knows the cues Sit, Stay, Lay Down, No and Don't Jump. Lilly is a very sensitive dog and does best around people who have a calm energy. Come meet this beautiful girl. She is a lovely dog with a lovely personality. The adoption fee is $160, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County. For more information or to schedule a time to meet the dog, please call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654 and press 7 to speak to a staff person.
