This dog is at Lake J.B. Thomas, Southside Park in Ira, Texas as of 3/14/23. My son is camping there and found her hiding in a ditch. She is sweet and friendly, but was starving. They contacted every no-kill shelter in a 2-hr radius and none can take her. They asked everyone around if the dog was there's and put up signs and no one is claiming her. My son has to leave tomorrow and they have a cat in a small RV and can't take her. Please someone go and rescue this dog before she starves!! It is so remote. She is very friendly. The ranger said she was dumped there, like a lot of dogs. No one has this animal, but the settings require that I say that someone has her. Also, she is not being euthanized (required to select that) but will die of starvation if no one takes her. She is a beautiful dog.
