About Finley

Hi! My name is Finley. I am around 18 months and just under 40 lbs. I am a cross of what looks like a Norfolk Terrier and a Dachshund. This is my deal. I love other dogs and I would do great with another playful buddy. I am also just fine with cats. I absolutely adore my foster mom and the my foster grandpa that I live with. I follow them around, sit in their laps and think they are the best. I can be in a home with kids 15+ and a household that isn't overwhelmingly busy. However, that being said I need more positive reinforcement when strangers and visitors come into the home. So, I don't want to be a recluse! I want and need that socialization, I am young! My owner and family needs to be able to instill confidence in me and claim the space when people come to say 'hi.' I will bark and act out a bit but once I am told to shut it down, I definitely listen. I would love a walking human and toys and playtime! I am a low shedder, I am housebroken and crate-trained.
