About Shayla

*Please read ad before inquiring.* Meet Shayla, an adorable, sweet and playful, 7 month old Golden Retriever puppy looking for a good and loving forever home. She enjoys playing fetch, going on walks, doing zoomies in the backyard, chasing her own tail like a tornado, and being on your lap like a lapdog. She does well on car rides, and is very friendly with everyone she meets. She is house and crate trained, but does still have some separation anxiety when left alone in her crate, so she will need to have someone sleep in the same room with her or else she may whine or bark, but other than that, she doesn't bark much. She knows commands like sit, down, crate, wait, stay, and has most recently learned shake and high five. It would be best if her new family has experience with puppies (ideally Golden Retrievers), and is fully prepared for the huge responsibility this is, and will have a lot of patience with her through her puppy stages. She will require a lot of attention and supervision. I think Shayla could potentially love having another doggy sibling to play with, and/or maybe some more mature children that know how to be gentle with her, or just anyone that has lots of time to give her all the love and attention she needs and deserves. I'm really hoping to find just the right home for Shayla where she will be safe, well cared for, happy, and most importantly, loved, by her new family. We would like her to go to a home where at least someone in her family is home most of the time with her, and will live inside as a member of the family. She will also need to go to a home that has a fully secured 6 foot fence with a decently sized backyard for her to safely do her business and zoomies in. If you meet the criteria and think you could be a good fit for Shayla, then please describe what kind of home you would offer her when replying to this ad, like if you own or rent your home, who lives there, if you have any children, what other pets you have, etc. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about Shayla if you are seriously interested in adopting her, and I may also provide more pictures upon request to those that we consider to potentially be a good fit for her. We do NOT want her being used for breeding, so please, only those that want to have her as a companion and family member will be considered. Her rehoming fee will include her crate, collar/leash, harness, food/water bowls, food container, kong, ball, any food and treats left at time of adoption, and vet records.
