About Buddy

Buddy is a very sweet and loving dog. He loves playing fetch and using his nose to do puzzles. He is very smart. Buddy has isolation distress. He does not like being left alone. I hired a wonderful trainer and we started desensitization training with Buddy. He is making progress and the trainer is willing to discuss Buddy with a new owner and help with the transition. Buddy would do well with an owner/family that has experience with rescue dogs with special needs and/or is home a lot and able to give him the attention he needs. I rescued him last year and love him so much but I am single and older and it's become apparent that he needs more people, attention, activity, strength, and time than I am able to give. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him but if I found a place for him where he could be safe and happy, it would be best for him.
