About Duce

Meet Duce. His foster Mom says 'Duke is a very sweet dog. He gets along with every dog he meets. He is crate trained and will bark at the door to go out. He loves running in the backyard and cuddling next to you on the couch. He needs time to trust you but once he does he will be your best buddy. He sleeps quietly all night and is happy to see you in the morning. He is very lovable and sweet. He gets scared easy and he doesn't like loud sounds. He loves other dogs of all sizes and would be great as a second dog in a home.' Duce is about 2-3 years old and 55 pounds. Please help this sweet boy find his forever home. Update: Duce tested positive for Anaplasmosis, a tick borne disease similar to Lyme's. He is currently on an oral antibiotic treatment and doing very well. The remaining pills will be sent home with his new family for completion. Duce is currently available for adoption. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
