About Ruby

Ruby is a ten-year-old, twenty-pound Mini Beagle. Ruby was found on the side of the road and rescued by a good citizen who reached out for our help. This is an adorable little gal and is very easy going, loves to cuddle and take long naps but is curious on her walks sniffing out every new place. Ruby takes everything in stride and has been excellent with other dogs. Ruby is good on a leash, and good with other dogs, cats, and kids ten and over. Ruby is also housetrained. She is heartworm positive but not a deal breaker, we are covering her treatment. Ruby is fully vetted. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
