About Rhoda

Adoption Fee: $350
Boxer mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Want to add a love bug in your life, Rhoda is a 2 year old Boxer mix, weighing about 55 lbs. She is house trained and crate trained. She is food motivated and will run to her crate when you have a treat in your hand and say 'crate' or 'nighty night'. She has learned the command sit and responds to her name. Rhoda is learning to trust that she is safe. She follows her foster sister dogs- there are no cats in home- and looks to them for reassurance and guidance. She has medium energy and would love to cuddle on your lap or soft sofa. She walks well on a leash but is very cautious. She will scare easily to loud noises, quick movements or reaching over her. She had her own quirks like eating while laying down, kicking in her sleep and she likes to have a toy in her mouth when meeting you. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and HW negative. She is fostered in Lancaster. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help.
