About Josie

Adoption Fee: $100
Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

We rescued Josie from a bad situation and need to find her a permanent home. She is 4-5 years old, house trained, knows some basic commands. She is a velcro dog and prefers to be with her person all the time. As long as she is with her person she relaxes, but if her person leaves she displays signs of separation anxiety. She is highly food driven and we have been using a slow feed bowl to slow down her eating. She currently lives in our home with another dog and a 4yr old child. She does fine with our other dog now, but can be dominant when meeting new dogs. She is crate trained and stays in the crate at night or when we leave the house. She does well in the car and loves to go places. She has been exposed to horses as well and does fine with them, mostly leaving them alone unless she is trying to eat their food.
